DroneDAA ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by CAVU CONSULTING LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Device location (optional). The app may request your location to center the map on your position and calculate proximity alerts. Location data is processed on-device only — it is never transmitted to our servers, stored remotely, or shared with third parties.
Bluetooth data. The app uses Bluetooth to scan for nearby drones broadcasting FAA Remote ID signals. This data is processed on-device only.
Local network data. The app connects to ADS-B receivers on your local network to receive aircraft position data via the GDL-90 protocol. This data is processed on-device only.
App preferences. Settings such as alert thresholds, map preferences, and saved locations are stored locally on your device using standard device storage.
Usage analytics. We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry.
DroneDAA does not store any personal data on remote servers. All app data (settings, preferences) is stored locally on your device. Weather and airspace data are fetched from public APIs and are not linked to any user identity.
